Star Wars and Steven Spielberg have a strong relationship dating back to the original film, which is weird considering he’s never directed any of the Star Wars films. Spielberg has been steadfast in stating that simply it just hasn’t happened but he is resolute in his love of Star Wars. It came to light recently that Spielberg has in-fact seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens three times and had this to say about the experience according to makingstarwars.net.
” I think The Force Awakens could be the greatest movie of all time”
That’s awfully high praise for J.J. Abrams as we are now less than three weeks away from the release of the most anticipated film of 2015.
Episode VII in the Star Wars Saga, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, opens in theaters December 18, 2015.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan & Abrams, features a cast including actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. They will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
