Vin Diesel gave fans a treat on his Instagram account over the weekend: the poster and title of the upcoming installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise:
Nothing is still known about the plot of this latest installment. This image boasts the New York City skyline, but Variety had previously reported that the studio was eyeballing Cuba as a shooting destination. Furious 7 spanned multiple worldwide locations, so there’s no reason Fast 8 can’t do the same. In fact, after its predecessor made over $1.5 billion at the global box office to become one of the Top 10 movies of all-time, Fast 8 very well may have to go to the moon to top it.
F. Gary Gray helms the flick, hot off of 2015’s smash hit Straight Outta Compton.
