The music of Star Wars has always been one of the franchise’s strong suits, and the soundtrack to The Force Awakens was no exception. A major selling point of the film was the promise of a new score by John Williams, and he did not disappoint.
Now, Disney has submitted Williams’ soundtrack for awards consideration. It’s available online in its entirety, including 13+ minutes of previously unreleased music.
John Williams Fan Network reports that Disney has submitted the score to members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, for their consideration at the 88th Academy Awards. JWFAN also supplies direct links to download the tracks in MP3 format.
