Sylvester Stallone May Walk Away From Rocky Balboa

Sylvester Stallone is nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of Rocky Balboa in Ryan Coogler’s CREED and it appears Stallone might want to retire the character with Rocky on top.

Stallone spoke to Variety at the Santa Barbara Film Festival this week, and the actor feels like Creed was Rocky Balboa’s last ride.

“I really have mixed feelings about this, seriously. I feel like Rocky, at the end of this movie on the steps, with the help of a young man, and he looks out and says, ‘From here, you can see your whole life’ – it sort of summarizes the whole thing. I don’t know how much further you can push Rocky,” said Stallone.

CREED was made on $35 million budget and has made $167,174,851 worldwide.
