Sense8: Season 2 (May 5th)

Sense8 regrets
The second season of the hit Netflix original series is coming soon. A group of individuals connected through psychic powers known as Sensates continue their fight against an organization which hopes to take them into custody. The trailer for the new season looks intense yet seems to ring with a sense of hope to it. Hopefully this isn’t a psych out and a lot of the cast is eliminated this year.

The Adventure Club (May 10th)

Netflix
A movie which seems to be a tribute to the great children’s adventures films of yesterday like The Goonies and Adventures in Babysitting. A young boy finds an ancient item belonging to his grandfather which allows a person to make wishes. Sounds like the perfect thing to watch when you have younger viewers and need something to put on.

Master Of None: Season 2 (May 12th)

Master of None
The Netflix original comedy which works to show the difficulties of being an adult today gets a second season. Watch as Aziz Ansari plays Dev, a commercial actor who is trying to find his way in life. Considering the last season ended with Dev flying to Italy, it will be interesting to see where they take the character from here.

Sherlock: Series 4 (May 15th)

Sherlock
More Sherlock? Yes please. The highly acclaimed retelling of the classic character gets more episodes. If you haven’t taken the time to check this series out, you really should. It’s some great television and some of the cases will really keep you guessing.

Riverdale (May 18th)

Riverdale
The reinvention of the Archie characters into a modern day drama could easily be called one of the first geeky surprises of the 2017. Watch as Archie Andrews deals with the life in his quiet time slowly spin out of control thanks to secrets, murder, and lies.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season 3 (May 19th)

Netflix
The underground comedy (pun intended) returns for its third season. The end of the second season seemed to set up the return of The Reverend into Kimmy’s life. Whatever happens, know it should be very entertaining to watch Kimmy try to deal with the world around her.

Inglourious Basterds (May 22nd)

Inglourious
In need of something a bit darker? Look no further than this war movie written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It has everything you have come to expect from the acclaimed director. A lot of blood, dark humor, and a few scenes which go on for a bit too long. It also has Christoph Waltz as one of the charismatic evil soldiers you will ever meet.

Doctor Strange (May 30th)

Doctor Strange
Didn’t get enough Benedict Cumberbatch after watching those new Sherlock episodes? No worries. He’s back as Stephen Strange, a surgeon who must find a new path in life after a horrible accident. This path just so happens to lead him to a world of magic he didn’t even know about existed. Also, it’s more of the Marvel Cinematic Universe goodness, so what’s not to love?
