Chris Hemsworth is out promoting In the Heart of the Sea and talked to the New York Daily News about the Thor vs. Hulk rematch in Thor: Ragnarok.
“I’d like to think I let him win last time, but because this movie is called Thor, I have to win this time,” said Hemsworth.
Hemsworth also talked about his hopes for the film, and about renewing his contract with Marvel Studios. His contract runs out after Avengers: Infinity War.
“I hope it’s a Butch Cassidy (and the Sundance Kid”) sort of story. That would be fun. I love Mark. I think those two characters haven’t spent a whole lot of time talking to each other on screen, so it’s something new, I think it would bring something different out of the characters. It’s hard to have a conversation with the Hulk,” said Hemsworth.
“Contractually that will finish me up, I have to see how I feel at the end of them, it’s still a while away. Ask me in three films time,” said Hemsworth added.
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi, Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle are working on the script, and the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, and Anthony Hopkins.
Thor: Ragnarok will destroy the universe on November 3, 2017.
