X-Men: Apocalypse is now in post-production but will head back to Montreal in January for some reshoots, according to Le Journal de Montreal.
Director Bryan Singer will be using Mel’s Studios for shooting additional scenes. Le Journal de Montreal does not cite a source, but they believe Hugh Jackman will be on hand for filming. Jackman was filming Eddie The Eagle over the summer and this could one reason for the additional filming for X-Men: Apocalypse.
Fans will find will find out definitively in January if the Wolverine will help battle Apocalypse.

Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. X-Men: Apocalypse is directed by Bryan Singer and stars Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult, Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Olivia Munn, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
The film takes place in the 1980s and we will see younger versions of previously seen characters.
X-Men: Apocalypse opens in theaters on May 27, 2016.
