After miraculously surviving being gunned down by police, a young man learns that he is part of the biggest lie in history. Now he must decide whether it’s safer to keep it a secret or if the truth will set him free.
‘Black’ was created Kwanza Osajyefo and Tim Smith 3, Jamal Igle was the artist on the book.
Osajyefo is a former digital editor at Marvel and DC Comics – best known for launching DC’s Zuda imprint, which published Bayou, High Moon, Night Owls, as well as Supertron, Celadore, Black Cherry Bombshells, Bottle of Awesome, and I Rule the Night. Smith 3 is a 15-year veteran in the comic industry. Igle is the recipient of the 2011 Inkpot Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comic Art He is also the writer/artist/Creator of Molly Danger for Action Lab Entertainment, along with the VP of Marketing and Publicity. He’s penciled for Marvel and DC Comics.
Studio 8 was established in 2014, EVP Creative Jon Silk will over see the development of the film. No release date, production schedule, or casting news was released at this time. Sony will handle distribution.
