Rick Famuyiwa Teases Cyborg In The Flash Solo Movie

Rumors have persisted for a while now that Ray Fisher’s Cyborg would appear in Ezra Miller’s The Flash in 2018. While nothing has been confirmed by the studio, some comments from Deborah Snyder hinted at a possible team up of the two youngest members of the Justice League.

Rick Famuyiwa, director of the the upcoming solo is adding fuel to this rumor fire as he took to twitter to share his progress in the film’s development with fans. Famuyiwa tweeted a picture that showed a the current draft of the film’s screenplay with the Funko Pop! figure of The Flash, accompanied by a another figure that seemed to be the  Cyborg figure from the same company.

Ultimately, an announcement from Warner Bros. or a direct confirmation from the director is all that is needed to put this issue to bed.

The Flash is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated movies in the upcoming DCEU (DC Extended Universe) film slate with Kiersey Clemons (Dope) cast as Iris West, Billy Crudup (Watchmen)as Dr. Henry Allen and Ezra Miller reprising his role as The Flash/Barry Allen from Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The film will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa (Dope) from a script aslo by Famuyiwa based on an earlier draft by Seth Grahame-Smith with a story by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Lego Movie, Han Solo). It is currently slated for a 2018 release. If the rumors are true, Ray Fisher will reprise his role as Victor Stone/ Cyborg. Casting is still underway for other roles in the film and the main villains are yet to be announced.
