A sequel to Wonder Woman is in the works, and actor Pedro Pascal was just added to the cast.
Pascal is known for his roles in Game Of Thrones and Narcos. While his role is still a mystery, it’ll be a key point in the movie. Another star joining the cast is Kristen Wiig who will play the villain Cheetah.
Patty Jenkins is returning to direct, write and produce the project. The film will take place during the 1980s Cold War.
Pascal recently starred in three seasons of Netflix’s Narcos, but won’t be returning for the fourth. In addition to the Wonder Woman sequel, his upcoming projects include The Equalizer 2, Triple Frontier, and Barry Jenkins’ If Beale Street Could Talk.
Wonder Woman has grossed over $821 million worldwide with $412 million being domestic. It’s the highest grossing live action female directed film in the world.
It’s set to be released Nov. 1, 2019.
