Hot Rumor: These Characters Will Appear In ‘The Last Jedi’ Teaser Trailer

After Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy stated that we’d see the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi in Spring, fans have been eagerly anticipating an announcement of some sort. On the topic, Star Wars News Net might have a scoop to tide over fans a bit longer.

According to the outlet, the first teaser for the film will include nearly all the main characters you would expect to see; Luke, Leia, Finn, and Rey were included in the tweet they released.

The idea that marketing for this movie won’t include Luke is just nonsense. He was absent from The Force Awakens’¬†trailers and promotional material, but there’s no way the character won’t appear in the trailers for Episode VIII.

As with all rumors, take this with a grain of salt. If anything was proven by The Force Awakens’¬†marketing it’s that Lucasfilm takes unique, yet effective, approaches to their film pushes.

What are your thoughts on this interesting bit of information? Is there any way Luke doesn’t show up in the film’s first teaser? Let us know in the comments below!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi continues the story established in 2015’s The Force Awakens. The cast includes Daisey Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Benicio Del Toro, Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, and Domhnall Gleeson.

The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
