Bangarang! The Lost Boys Reunite For the 25th Anniversary of ‘Hook’

Apparently even the Lost Boys grew up. The website 22 Vision celebrated the 25th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s Hook with a reunion photo shoot of the boys, who are certainly no longer “boys”. During the shoot, the cast reminisced and shared fond memories of working on the film. Their work with the late Robin Williams was a particularly hot topic.

A Project Two Years in the Making

According to Entertainment Tonight, it took almost two years to organize the reunion. Brian Pocrass, CEO/Producer for 22 Vision, explains his dedication to the project: “Hook is just one of those movies that people really grew up on. To get [the Lost Boys] together to remember Robin and celebrate this milestone is something that I loved being a part of.”

Dante Basco (Rufio), spoke about losing Williams: “I think for all of us [Robin’s death] was the death of our childhood…There’s sadness there, also there’s a lot of space to kinda celebrate one of the most legendary artists of our time.” Other cast members told ET he was “…as goofy as he was gentle”. Williams made sure each child was treated as an individual, and he “kept the set very alive”.hook reunion

22 Vision also shot reunion photos for the Little Rascals and School of Rock, among others. Their “Children of Horror” series, where kids dressed as classic horror film figures, was similarly successful.
