Vin Diesel updated the cover of his Facebook page with a photo of him and filmmaker F. Gary Gray Monday night. Could this be a sign that Gray will direct Fast and Furious 8.
On Monday, Variety reported that there was a short-list of directors that included Gray, Adam Wingard, Louis Leterrier and Will Eubank.
Gray’s most recent success Straight Out of Compton has earned almost $200 million worldwide, he also directed The Italian Job. It was rumored that Gray was in the running for Marvel’s Black Panther.
