‘Cloverfield’ Sequel From J.J. Abrams – ’10 Cloverfield Lane’ Trailer

Paramount Pictures released the trailer 10 Cloverfield Lane Thursday night. The film is a sequel to J.J. Abrams Cloverfield from 2008.

“The idea came up a long time ago during production. We wanted to make it a blood relative of Cloverfield. The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible,” said Abrams to Collider in a statement.

10 Cloverfield Lane is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, from a script by Josh Campbell, Matthew Stuecken and Damien Chazelle. The film stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr.

10 Cloverfield Lane is scheduled for release on March 11 in IMAX.
