Box Office – ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Debuts With $27.6M

Avengers: Age of Ultron debuts Thursday night with a huge $27.6M opening. Shows started at 7pm. This is up 48% compared to The Avengers in 2012, which had a midnight start.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith back in 2005 holds the all-time record for a Thursday opening at $50,013,859.
