Legendary actor Alan Rickman passed away at age 69 after losing his battle with cancer, his family confirmed Thursday according to Deadline.
“The actor and director Alan Rickman has died from cancer at the age of 69. He was surrounded by family and friends,” the family statement.
The actor had 68 credits to his name, depending on your generation, Rickman is either famous for his work on Die Hard or the Harry Potter series. He also canceled Christmas in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and saved Earth in Galaxy Quest.
