‘Mega Man’ Is Getting A Film

Mega Man, the popular retro video game, is getting a big screen adaptation.

Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the team behind Catfish and Nerve, are in final talks to direct the picture. Additionally, Masi Oka is set to star; Chernin Entertainment is the studio behind the film.

Although the franchise was most popular in the 1980s and 1990s, its nostalgia lives on. It’s getting a new cartoon that doesn’t have a release date, and though a new game in the franchise hasn’t been announced, indie developers have made spiritual successors in attempt to meet fan demand, such as Mighty No. 9 and Mighty Gunvolt Burst.
