The upcoming Avengers: Infinity War will bring together Earth’s Mightiest Heroes once again to save the world. This time the only difference being that the Avengers are divided. Following the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Steve Rogers and the rest of the Raft escapees are fugitives of the law while Iron Man and co. are living under the Sokovia Accords.
The rift between the two groups will become an important plot point in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster. Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. sat down with Empire and discussed that very thing and how Tony Stark’s relationship with Steve Rogers has changed:
“To me, the big question is could he ever in clear conscience pick up that flip phone Cap sent him at the end of Civil War. That is really it. For me I think back to Obidiah and that deception, and it’s one of those things It’s why Steve Perry never went back to Journey.”

Downey went on to discuss what the feeling will be like when Cap and Iron Man reunite once again onscreen:
“I feel like my instinct would be to bust his jaw. All I know is that there’s something about being on camera with Evans. I hate to say it, but I don’t know what I’m gonna do when he’s not Cap anymore. I look at him and think this is the truest, most down moral psychology I’ve ever seen and then they go, ‘Cut!’ and Chris is like, ‘Hey buddy, I gotta get out of here.’ I’m like, ‘You wanna go to dinner?’ ‘Nope.’ ‘Okay! Love you! Love you, Cap! I mean, Chris!’”
Hopefully, our two favorite heroes are able to come together in time to stop Thanos. If not, the Avengers will be in for a rough time.
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
