This is a tough question. I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I know the competition will be tough. My show is just under a year old, and is purely something I do in my spare time. As such, I haven’t had time or the budget to dump into promoting the show. I’m not really big on tooting my own horn, but I do believe my show quality is on par with some of the top shows out there. Martini and I have been working on this Podcast a year. We have put our heart and soul into every episode. We want to win the championships because we want to reach the audience that our podcast is made for. We believe that there are people out there who believe that they are alone in their journey for love or something like it. We are on that journey ourselves which is why we share our experiences, good and bad, publicly to let people know that we are all in the same boat. We are not experts and I think that benefits us, We are not better than you, We are just like YOU.
I am a female with more experience in relationships and with life’s little adventures , and my counterpart Martini, is a male who has experiences but is more on an introverted scale. Sometimes we are the proverbial Ying and Yang giving you both side of the story which we feel is more relatable to our audience.
We discuss sex, love and relationships and all the hiccups in between. Despite the false starts along this journey we still remain optimistic and think you should too. Hopefully, BedLoveBeyond will be a vehicle for that movement.

Chicks with Flicks is the podcast where ladies look at movies aimed at the guys, dudes, and bros of the world. Then we decide if we like those testosterone fueled films despite our femininity.
For almost sixteen months, we ladies of The Chick Panel have given our viewpoints on movies that are supposedly out of our demographic. From Arnold punching a camel to whatever the “Xander Zone” was, we have laughed at, heavily critiqued, and sometimes defended the movies held so dearly by the men in our lives. We are looking forward to sharing our show with an even wider audience.

Our diverse and rotating crew of 10(ish) panelists records bi-weekly in a local comic shop, and the Comics.Community podcast has quickly grown from a “single-mic in the middle of a table” production, to an all-inclusive Mid-Michigan staple at cons and special events.

What happens when two friends with a passion for sports and a love for drinking come together with two mics and a dream? Sports. Beer. Podcast.
Much like a delicious microbrewery, Craft Brewed Sports is looking to carve out a small piece of the market against the bigger names and more “watered down” shows. Our show gives you the feeling that you’re just hanging out with friends, drinking a beer, talking sports. We want to introduce listeners to beers they may not have heard of, and provide them with sports stories that they can talk about with their friends after the show is over. The sports and beer stories we talk about aren’t just what happens on the field or at the tap, so listeners get a good mix of pop culture mixed in with each episode. We’re not experts and we don’t claim to be. But we have a good grasp of what’s going on in the sports world and what’s happening with the craft beer scene. We not only interact with our listeners, but encourage them to become a part of the show through social media. And what would any entertaining show be if the hosts didn’t call each other out on topics they disagreed on and predictions they got wrong?
Separating us from just being “another sports podcast” is that in just about every episode, you can pinpoint the moment when the beer really starts kicking in and things go off the rails.
We’re relatable, we’re funny, we’re entertaining, and we put out a quality product week-in and week-out.
When we started this podcast the only goal we had was to entertain and be heard. We’ve seen growth month after month since starting earlier this year and we hope for that to continue. If you told us that the only thing we got for a measly $10 for entry into this contest was 50 more listeners a week, it would be money well spent.
We know you’re listening to thousands of shows from all over the world for consideration, but we would be honored to take home the 2016 title of Best Amateur Podcast.

We provide a unique way to have stimulating, interesting discussion about history for those with a dark sense of humor. We’re just wierdos, so we don’t have that many friends to promote this to, and we think the quality of our podcast would be beneficial to many more people.
Dissecting the 80s

There are a zillion bad movie podcasts out there, but only Dissecting the 80s has hosts who’ve spent their entire lives together watching movies and trying to make each other laugh. While the podcast is 2.5 years old, our riffing on movies goes back closer to 20 years, and it shines through when listening to the show. To listen to us is to love us, so what are you waiting for?
Since August 2014, Tripp and Andrew Laino have been creating consistently funny, informative and entertaining podcasts, covering all manner of 1980s pop culture. We’ve watched great movies and tv shows, and some truly unwatchable ones, but have always been able to find ways to make jokes — even if it means taking some wild tangents.
Despite the fact that our history is long, we take extra care to invite everyone along for the ride with us — we’ll cite the specific episode we’re referencing, or on the relevant non-show background so as not to lose anyone along the way.
Now, why did we nominate ourselves with an episode that breaks our format? Well, we think it highlights the best of Dissecting the 80s, as it is the culmination of a running joke (Andrew wishing he was watching Ghost instead of what we’re watching), the kind of interesting insight we bring to a movie, even when we love it (the absurdity of Demi Moore not helping Patrick Swayze mid-mugging) and a slew of fun riffs on the movie (Just what, exactly, the rules are for ghosts in the movie, and why they look like the way they do). Plus, it was Leap Day, and if there was ever a reason to leap to a different decade, that was it!
