UNCLE SCROOGE #468 hits your local comic book store on December 9th, but thanks to Fantagraphics, Monkeys Fighting Robots has an six-page preview for you!
About the issue:
“Curse me kilts!”
When Scrooge activates an ancient spellbook called the Horrorkomikon, the McDuck Money Bin gets magically infested with dragons, banshees, and pirates! The cure lies with long-lost horror novelist H.P. Hatequack… but only Professor Ludwig Von Drake can find him, and Scrooge’s ghostly evil twin is standing in the way!
Join us for “The Curse of H.P. Hatequack,” a feature-length thriller drawn by Giorgio Cavazzano—and then hang around for “Intern Affairs”: super-inventor Gyro Gearloose hires a new helper, but über-nerd Myron Orpington is not the best duck to mix with hi-tech!
“Curse of H.P. Hatequack” is by writers Giulio Gualtieri & Marco Nucci and artist Giorgio Cavazzano, with colors by Disney Italia, and translation/dialogue by Joe Torcivia.
“Intern Affairs” is then by writer Lars Jensen and artist Francisco “Paco” Rodriguez Peinado, with colors by Digikore Studios, and dialogue by Jensen & David Gerstein. Nicole Seitler letters both stories.
The main cover is by Andrea Freccero, with a variant cover by Michel Nadorp, and an incentive wraparound variant (available only through Lunar and in comic shops) by Daan Jippes and Ulrich Schroeder.
