The CBS coverage of Super Bowl 50 was a snoozefest as 100 million people realized a defensive struggle and Phil Simms are not entertaining, on top of that the commercials didn’t help the evening either.
The one bright spot was the battle of wits between Alec Baldwin and Dan Marino. In a night of bland and the occasional misguidedness of creativity, the Amazon Echo ad was memorable and made you laugh. The 60-second spot also featured Jason Schwartzman and Missy Elliot.
The worst and creepiest ad goes to the NFL for trying to explain where babies come from. There’s nothing worst than watching the big game and thinking about your parents having sex, or all the couples in Denver.
