2014’s smash-hit The Lego Movie is building up a universe of movies. First up, there’s The Lego Batman Movie out this weekend. WB has also released the trailer for 2017’s Ninjago, and announced a Lego Movie 2 the following year. But why stop there? With all of the potential franchises that could do with a LEGO reboot, here’s our list of the most desirable LEGO movies.
7LEGO Star Wars
Disney is cranking out more Star Wars films these days, including anthology tales like Rogue One. While that film may have been a more serious entry, Star Wars could also benefit from a light-hearted project too. Star Wars LEGO sets have been a classic staple of childhood for many, and the video games added to the visual, goofy fun. And the Star Wars cameos in The Lego Movie were phenomenal. Star Wars might not need a full LEGO trilogy, but a standalone movie could be a great next project.
