‘The Walking Dead’ Showrunner Has A Message For The Fans

Episode 3 ‘Thank You’ of the sixth season of AMC’s The Walking Dead had one of the biggest shockers of an ending in recent seasons. The episode was so crazy that showrunner Scott M. Gimple released a statement on The Talking Dead.

Spoilers are forthcoming, turn back now!
Star Wars The Walking Dead

“Dear fans of The Walking Dead, this is a hard story to tell and when we were planning to tell we knew our friends at the Talking Dead would be talking to you about it and knowing you’d all be talking, and feeling and commiserating, I knew we should say something about it lest our silence say something we didn’t mean to say or not say. So I’ll say this: In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story to help complete the story,” said Gimple.

Do you think Glenn died last night?

Steven Yeun is still filming the second half of this season and to kill off a main character with such little fanfare would be a disservice to the series. The Hollywood Reporter is saying that say that Yeun recently signed a new deal to remain on the show which would indicate that he is alive as well.

From the teaser to next week’s episode ‘Here’s Not Here’ it looks like fans will not get many answers about Glenn as it appears to be about Morgan and how he found the group.

AMC even released the scene in question on Youtube to further fuel the speculation. Watch with caution…
