During an interview with TVline(Season 5 Spoilers for Arrested Development- TVline), Jessica Walter (Lucielle Bluth) spilled the beans about season 5. The 5th season will center around the arrest of Buster Bluth (Tony Hale) for the murder of Lucielle Austero (Liza Minnelli). Just the comedy of errors that will come from that alone has us on the edge of our seat waiting for season 5 of Arrested Development to drop on Netflix.

BBC Sherlock special first clip teased at SDCC
Sherlock is one of a kind tv show in the sense that it’s made based on well known characters, but adapted in a modern way. When I first heard about it I was reluctant to see it because of the Victorian aspect of the canon world of Sherlock Holmes, thinking it might be too similar to the recent movies. Two years ago I finally caved and realized that this BBC Sherlock version, with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, is more unique than I expected.
Co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss announced a Christmas special for next December 2015 and for a while we’ve known that it’s set during the Victorian era. See my predicament now?
Yesterday we were able to see the first promotional photo from the upcoming Sherlock special. Classy!
And today during San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), Moffat, along with producer (and wife) Sue Vertue and actor Rupert Graves, attended a panel were they unveiled the first clip. They also announced that the special will be shown in selected theaters worldwide, so that’s something to look forward to.
After watching this I can see what Moffat was referring to at SDCC when he said: “It’s still the same sense of humour, it’s very much the show you know – but in the correct era.” As for any other answers about what’s coming, they prefer not to offer even a slight hint, as per usual:
Question from the room – will we ever see the third Holmes brother? SM: You already know how much of an answer you’re going to get… #SDCC

What are your expectations for this Sherlock special? Tune in to Monkeys Fighting Robots for more SDCC news!
EDIT: Sherlock actors Andrew Scott, Benedict Cumberbatch and Mark Gatiss (also co-creator) sent a video to be shared at the SDCC panel, excusing themselves for not being there. They also added a very nice twist for the fans.

It’s unclear at this time when Affleck’s Batman will fit in the timeline of DC’s upcoming releases.Affleck last won an Oscar for his work in Argo.Do you think that Ben is the right choice?
Comic-Con: Mockingjay Hall H Panel Delivers
Among the hoopla of San Diego Comic-Con came one the most highly anticipated events of the weekend. Hundreds of eager fans packed into Hall H as Conan O’Brien introduced the Cast of Mockingjay Part 2. There was a tinge of sadness for the fans as this was going to be the last #SDCC to promote Hunger Games for Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth , and Josh Hutcherson. Some of the bigger moments of the event where when Liam and Jennifer were asked what they did on the last day of filming .

Jennifer Lawrence was also asked what costume she most likely would want to keep.

We certainly found out that the cast is not any good and reproducing the Mockingjay whistle.

Jennifer Lawrence also summed up how she felt leaving the role of Katniss.

Bill Murray Crashes Comic-Con
Bill Murray attend his first Comic-Con when he appeared during the Open Road panel in Hall H.
Murray attended the panel as his Rock the Kasbah character, Richie Lanz, Kasbah’s manager. He asked the crowd to sing to themselves for 30 seconds.

The trailer is intriguing to say the least. And, as noted in the trailer, the cast for Rock The Kasbah is expansive and impressive to say the least. Barry Levinson directs from a screenplay by Scrooged scribe Mitch Glazer, and who knows if it’s any good.
Rock The Kasbah hits theaters October 23.
Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson Join “THE DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE”
DC Entertainment began Comic-Con International: San Diego 2015 with a blockbuster announcement, revealing today that artists Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson will be joining living-legend Batman writer and artist Frank Miller and acclaimed writer Brian Azzarello in bringing the final chapter of the celebrated THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS saga to life.
“THE DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE” is the epic conclusion to Miller’s 1986 classic THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS trilogy – heralded by TIME Magazine as one of the 10 greatest graphic novels of all time – and its 2001-2002 follow-up series BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN.
THE DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE will be an eight-issue, comic book periodical, to be published monthly under the DC Comics imprint. Within each 32 page periodical there will be a special 16 page “Dark Knight Universe” comic affixed in the center. Each “Dark Knight Universe” comic will feature a rotating cast of special guest artists and characters.
“We went into this knowing that we had to give fans more,” said Dan DiDio and Jim Lee, Co-Publishers for DC Entertainment. “We’re pulling out all the stops to deliver an amazing conclusion to this exciting body of work. We hope it inspires the next generation of writers and artists, the way it has already inspired us.”
According to Kubert, “Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello have crafted such an incredible story for DKIII, as I am truly honored to be associated with them, this project, and Klaus Janson. We, along with the fans, are in for a great ride!”
“Any opportunity to work with Frank Miller is a happy occasion for me,” said Janson. “When we add the talents of Brian Azzarello and Andy Kubert to the mix, we have the ingredients to achieve something truly memorable. This will be amazing!”
Marking the 30th anniversary of THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS original series, this periodical is slated for publication beginning in late Fall 2015.
