Nick Kroll’s ‘Big Mouth’ Renewed By Netflix

Netflix made a very awkward announcement when it came to renewing the edgy adult animated comedy ‘Big Mouth’ Tuesday afternoon.

“Big Mouth is coming, all over again… Season 2 lands in 2018,” stated Netflix.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the show is sitting at a 100% from 13 critics.

According to Vanity Fair, Kroll hopes the show inspires “some crazy conversations.”
“That, to me, is the goal. Because I think that kids have so much access to information now, but a lot of the information’s bad. It’s all Internet, it’s like fake news. My hope is that we made a funny show that I would want to watch, but also that kids want to watch and that parents could watch with their kids and talk about this huge stuff that is really hard to talk about. So my hope is there is some version of this that gives them tools to be like, ‘My hormone monster makes me want to do this . . ,’” said Kroll.

The first season of ‘Big Mouth’ was 10-episodes, the half-hour adult animated series is about the glorious nightmare that is teenage puberty, created by Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg.

The series uses the voice talents of John Mulaney, Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate, and Jessi Klein. Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett serve as screenwriter-directors.

Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett co-created the series. ‘Big Mouth’ is a Netflix production.

Season 2 of ‘Big Mouth’ hits Netflix in 2018.
