A new droid is coming to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, according to the Star Wars Show.
Meet C2-B5, an Imperial Astromech droid which will appear in the upcoming movie.
He was revealed during the latest episode of the weekly series. You can watch it below.

So what do we know abut C2-B5? Not much.
He’s black with chrome, as seen in an official Star Wars tweet.

He also bears a striking resemblance to another droid. R2-D2 anyone?
The Star Wars Show would only offer this small detail about C2-B5:
The Galactic Empire relies on Astromech droids to maintain its machinery. But unlike the Rebel Alliance, Imperial technicians do not grant their droids independence and subject them to frequent memory wipes to keep them subservient.
It’s unclear how big of a part the Imperial droid will play in the upcoming film.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 16.
