Han Solo Standalone Film Starts Shooting In February

The Han Solo “solo” movie will start production as early as February, according to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.

During an interview with Kennedy, BBC’s Lizo Mzimba asked how the studio is coming along with the movie.

“We’re actually very close. We’re going to start shooting in February,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy also revealed that Star Wars fans will see Episode VIII updates sometime in the spring.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will direct. Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke star.

The untitled Han Solo movie is set for release in 2018.
