Scheduled for 2020, the Green Lantern Corps movie is expected to feature both Hal Jordan and John Stewart and the film has been described as “Lethal Weapon in space”. According to the report, Warner Bros. hasn’t started casting but is looking for an actor aged 39 to 50 for Hal Jordan and 21 to 30 for John Stewart.
If this turns out to be true, Wyatt will be the second Planet of the Apes director to join the DCEU. Rupert Wyatt previously directed Rise of the Planet of the Apes and is currently working on his next release Captive State, starring John Goodman and Vera Farmiga. It’s important to remember that this is just a rumor and nothing has been confirmed by Warner Bros.
