“SLEEPLESS is a story that is very dear to me, grown from an idea I would play in my head at night as I tried to fall asleep. It’s wonderful to see the book come to life with Leila, Alissa, and Deron. I hope readers enjoy reading about Poppy and Cyrenic and getting a little more romance, costumes, and fantasy in their lives,” said Vaughn.
Vaughn is known for her work on ALEX + ADA and ETERNAL EMPIRE. del Duca has worked on SHUTTER and AFAR.
If Sleepless is your type of book, bug your local comic book store before November 13 to order your copy. Issue one hits the shelves on December 6.
Alissa Sallah handled the colors and editing on the first issue, and Jen Bartel designed the variant cover.
del Duca recently displayed her skills during inktober.
