Celebrate Christmas with the Three Caballeros… and Fantagraphics’ Disney Legacy Comic Books!
Wak! When Scrooge McDuck can’t find the world’s rarest cocoa beans, this calls for “The Three Caballeros’ Christmas Quest,” with mostly-fearless Donald, José Carioca, and Panchito Pistoles prowling Mexico’s dankest rainforests! But Pralina Trufflesniff, a wily warthog chocolate mogul, wants the super beans first… and she’s ready to roast a few ducks, chickens, and parrots if they get in her way!
Then fan-favorite talents Stefan Petrucha (The X-Files) and Paco Rodriguez return for “Nibbling Gold”: when Donald and Scrooge go treasure-hunting in Germany, the mystic “Earring of the Nibblequack” transports them to a parallel world of magic and monsters!
“The Three Caballeros’ Christmas Quest” is by writer Ralph du Mosch and pencillers Carmen Pérez & Tony Fernández, with inks by Marta Leonat & Comicup Studio, colors by DPG Media B.V. & Nicole Seitler, and translation/dialogue by Thad Komorowski.
“Nibbling Gold” is then by writer Stefan Petrucha and artist Francisco “Paco” Rodriguez Peinado, with colors by Digikore Studios. Nicole Seitler letters both stories.
The main cover is by Jan-Roman Pikula, with a variant cover by Francisco “Paco” Rodriguez Peinado, and an incentive cover (available only through Lunar and in comic shops) by Pogo artist Walt Kelly.
