Here is the essential reading for Logan!

4. X-Men Evolution: “X-23”

“Reading” is a general term, and you can read an episode of TV the same way you can a comic book.

X-23 is one of many characters that originated on TV before appearing in comics. She first appears in the X-Men: Evolution episode “X-23,” where she’s revealed to be a clone of Wolverine. She escapes Hydra’s custody and attacks the X-Mansion to get to Logan. It’s only a 20 minute episode, but it’s a great opportunity to see the extent of her power and the depth of her character. If you’re just looking for a quick intro to Laura before seeing Logan, this is your chance.

X-23 reappears in the Evolution episode “Target X.” Both episodes were written by Craig Kyle and Kyle Yost, who would go on to bring their character into the Marvel comics universe themselves.
