This series will be a brief, semi-comedic review of the CW superhero shows. You can check out last week’s review post here. The only shows discussed will be ‘Arrow’, ‘Flash’, and ‘Supergirl’. There WILL be some spoilers discussed, so only look at the reviews you’re up to date on!
2. The Flash, “Fury Rogue” (April 24th)
CW’S THE FLASH brings back a classic guest star for an okay outing. It’s great that at least one of these bus metas exists outside of a single episode. Barry grieving Ralph worked okay, but his crying felt less effective coming off of J’onn’s emotional breakdown in SUPERGIRL. Harry’s breakdown was a bit more intriguing, as he struggles with telling Cisco. The worst part of the episode? Introducing YET ANOTHER BLACK SIREN. WE DON’T NEED THREE LAURELS. MAKING JOKES ABOUT THREE LAURELS DOES NOT MAKE IT BETTER THAT THERE ARE THREE LAURELS NOW.
