Early today the epic trailer for Avengers: Infinity War dropped. And although the trailer is filled with tons of ‘oh shit’ moments, it was a quiet and quick cut at the beginning that caught my attention from the first (of multiple!) views. You can see it below.
That is the Vision (looking rather human-like) lovingly gazing at Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch). Marvel fans know that in the comics Vision and Scarlet Witch had a long relationship, marrying at one point, that was a huge part of the Avengers mythos and also significant for each character. It also ended tragically. This shot seems to indicate we can expect some aspect of that relationship developing or already developed between these two in the MCU. Also, it’s nice to see a tender moment in what seems to be an epic packed with action!
