xxArray is taking their 90-plus camera 3D body studio on tour to capture ultra gaming nerds in insane high detail, and produce a 3D avatar of their likeness. Once xxArray gives you this file the options are pretty awesome from 3D animation to sculptures. This could be pretty amazing for the gaming industry. Just imagine buying a game and then uploading your avatar to play as yourself.
xxArray started a Kickstarter project to help fund the nationwide tour. The base price for this service is $99.
