A show that started as a spin-off is now getting its own spin-off!
With The Vampire Diaries ending last year, and The Originals gearing up for its final season, our vampire and werewolf fix was coming to an end.
Thanks to the brilliant mind of Julie Plec and CW, we now get to continue our infatuation.
The new untitled spin off stars Matt Davis who plays Alaric in TVD and The Originals, and Danielle Rose Russell who will make her debut in season 5 of The Originals as teenage Hope.
Aria Shahghasemi who also makes her debut in the fifth season, will be in the spin off as well.
Hollywood Life reports, Danielle will play a teenage Hope, while Aria will play her love interest. Newcomers Quincy Fouse (The Goldbergs), Kaylee Bryant (Santa Clarita Diet) and Jenny Boyd will also star.
The series is said to be set in Mystic Falls at Alaric (Matt Davis) and Caroline’s Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted.
Last year, Originals EP Julie Plec told TVLine that “the idea of the school as a safe haven for young supernatural beings certainly has a lot of relevance for Hope.”
The final season of The Originals begins April 20 9/8 CST on CW.
