3The Trials of Keith (The Blade of Marmora)
As the Paladins meet up with the resistance group the Blade of Mamora, Keith uses it as an opportunity to find out about his past. He insists on answers and the organization is only willing to give them to him if he survives a series of violent trials. As Keith endures severe punishment Shiro can only watch as his friend takes an intense beating. Just as it seems like Keith can’t take anymore, he finds himself in a mental trap where his own father insists he should give up and stop fighting. This intense mental and physical abuse is one of the most gripping moments of the season.
