‘Star Wars VIII’: Lupita Nyong’o Hasn’t Filmed Scenes Yet

Production has wrapped on Star Wars: Episode VIII, but Lupita Nyong’o hasn’t filmed her scenes, Collider reports.

The actress made the reveal at the Toronto Film Festival while promoting her new film, Queen of Katwe.

During the interview, Nyong’o was asked what it was like to work with Rian Johnson (Looper, Brick).

“Rian! I haven’t worked with him yet; I’ve yet to shoot. That’s in my future.”

Nyong’o will appear in Marvel’s Black Panther in 2018.

Star Wars: Episode VIII  stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, John Boyega and Carrie Fisher.

The film hits theaters December 15, 2017.
