UPDATE:
Heidi MacDonald of The Beat was the first reporter to report the issue with New York Comic Con ticket sales.
Tickets to the event went on sale at noon EST and then Twitter exploded with disappointed fans as the NYCC’s servers could handle the load and left people stranded in the ticket queue which eventually led to an error page.
At 1pm EST it was reported that 3 day passes and VIP tickets were sold out.
