Exclusive Preview: The Amory Wars: Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV #8 (of 12)

Boom! Studios released an exclusive five-page preview of The Amory Wars: Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV #8 (of 12) to Monkeys Fighting Robots Thursday morning.

The book is written by Claudio Sanchez and Chondra Echert, with art by Rags Morales, colors by Emilio Lopez, and Ed Dukeshire handled letters.

Issue eight is the beginning of the final arc. The Grail Arbor, cloaked by invisibility, enters Apity-Prime’s atmosphere and readies a sneak attack on Ryan’s compound.

Check out the five-page preview below:

The Amory Wars: Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV #8 hits your local comic book shop on November 1.

Sanchez also released three tracks from his new band Chonny & Clyde with all the proceeds going to Unidos Por Puerto Rico to with the recovery efforts from Hurricane Maria and Irma.

Back in April, Sanchez explained the concept of the fourth story arc.

“In the previous stories, there’s always a mention of a god type figure and a riddle that all of the inhabitants of Heaven’s Fence have to sort of abide by. We learn in Good Apollo #1 that godlike figure is actually this writer who is experiencing this heartbreak that is making him lose his way and in his absence, the characters are starting to develop the idea of free will, that maybe the prophecies that they’re supposed to abide by are malleable,” said Sanchez.
