Back in April, Sanchez explained the concept of the fourth story arc.
“In the previous stories, there’s always a mention of a god type figure and a riddle that all of the inhabitants of Heaven’s Fence have to sort of abide by. We learn in Good Apollo #1 that godlike figure is actually this writer who is experiencing this heartbreak that is making him lose his way and in his absence, the characters are starting to develop the idea of free will, that maybe the prophecies that they’re supposed to abide by are malleable,” said Sanchez.
