Although originally only solicited to write and provide covers for an upcoming arc on Action Comics, Booster Gold creator Dan Jurgens has revealed he is now also going to be penciling the story as well.
In speaking with Newsarama, Jurgens said:
It’s taxing, as I’m still writing a lot of stuff as well, but it’s been fun to come back for the covers. I’m also drawing two issues, #993 and #994, which is also a lot of fun!. I really wish I had more time to draw.
This is fantastic news, as Booster Gold is a cult favorite for many in the DCU. And personally, I love it when Jurgens is behind this great character. All we need now is some Ted Kord and we get back to some ‘Blue and Gold’ comic book territory!
