One of the more impressive aspects of this Wet Hot American Summer redux is the fact that everyone came back, especially since many of these actors became megastars. What else might be a slice of comedy genius is that writer/director David Wain and his cast decided to make the 40-year old versions of these characters appear as younger versions of themselves in what will be a prequel.
Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garofalo, Amy Poehler, and the rest of the cast return, along with new faces Jon Hamm, Jordan Peele and Kristen Wiig. All eight episodes of Wet Hot American Summer will be available on Netflix July 31.
