At the 25th Annual Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes discussed the DC Extended Universe and Ben Affleck’s solo Batman film. Specifically, Bewkes gave a time frame for the release of the Batman movie, according to comicbook.com.
“Ben announced a Batman movie [that] he’s going to direct, star, write for – I think it’s a year and a half out,” said Bewkes.

The Batman solo film is rumored to feature several villians, earlier this month Joe Manganiello was cast as Deathstroke, and Jared Leto as we all know is the Joker. What other villains do you want to see in the film?
Geoff Johns and Affleck are working the script, and Affleck will bring his Oscar caliber direction to the movie. J.K. Simmons is Commissioner Gordon, with Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.
The untitled Batman solo adventure looks to hit theaters in 2018.
