And the new Legion story is an abomination. Yeah, maybe I am biased having read each iteration from the original–the 70s on in real time, and finding back issues. Also, I don’t care they decided to make Lighting Lad black, but why does his costume have to look like a Black Lightning costume. Please.

Bendis said several times that he wouldn’t do anything to compromise Geoff’s work and is aware of DDC. He even backs it up with hints to the book (see my comment).

Doomsday Clock itself has been foreshadowing the future being erased since issue 7 long before Bendis got the idea for a Legion reboot. She wasn’t erased by any action by Bendis, but by Manhattan meeting Superman.

I’m sure he’ll give them closure and even let them co-exist like Legion of 3 Worlds or like Titans tomorrow and Batman Beyond, two futures that exist at the same time.

Bendis himself is playing with it in young Justice with Tim getting flashes of Pre-Flashpoint YJ, with Conner and Bart remembering the timeline completely and also not existing in current history.

Snyder also confirmed Barry and John or anyone in the present don’t remember the JSA.

Oh and as for the Retroboot Legion, I’m guessing Geoff will have them appear one last time and may even co-exist with the new one like in Legion of Three Worlds. Similarly, the Titans of Tomorrow future and Batman Beyond future both interact with the main timeline but contradict each other.

Overall Doomsday Clock is still canon and likely still in the future as Tom King is about to bring back the Button and link it to how Thomas is here. Both Snyder and Bendis have foreshadowed DDC as well. Besides what I already said, Bendis had Jon watch a Nathaniel Dusk film on Jor-El’s ship in Superman.
