Kirk and crew will help, until they find out that restoring the original timeline will cause their demise, and go toe to toe with Sisko to stop it from happening. Oh, and no one will know it’s him, because he’ll go by the name Penjamin Frisco, until the big reveal when he shows up in the Defiant to destroy the Enterprise, revealing his true identity and intentions, and despite the Defiant being a superior ship, the Enterprise will somehow destroy it.
