Also like to point out that none of the weapons that the crystal gems used were made to shatter gems so the casualties on their side must have been minimal if any, as for her side the gems that fought with her were healed by her so it was no big deal. it was her last plan that pushed everything to far but it was what she thought was necessary. my only question is how is all this going to be resolved.

one last thing. We know the ending of pink diamonds story but we don’t know the beginning or the end we’re basing things off the one time we saw her on jungle moon but there might be a lot more to her then what was shown

This is probably the case but given how the show just pulled the rug out of what was known I wouldn’t put it pass them to pull out something we weren’t thinking of.

It’s clear that Pink did not believe her sisters cared what she thought or wanted and had the mis-conception that if she made earth seem like it was nothing more then a problem they would say find we will find a new world to mine that isn’t going to cost us time and resources. When that did not work she chose to end her own rebellion and the war it had caused by scaring off her sisters by faking her own shattering. Another mis-conception on her part. That leads to the retaliation by the other diamonds in the ray that mutated all remaining gems.

Pink clearly loved her gems and earth more then her sisters cared about anything other than themselves and since she did not understand just how different she was from them she mis-judged their reactions and responces.
