Thank you! To the few others that I’ve spoken to that didn’t like the film, described it as boring which as both you and I can attest wasn’t the necessarily case. I’m not sure about you Linda, but perhaps there was just that extra cult horror element that wasn’t implemented properly.. whereas in let’s say 70s or 80s horror the ending is usually rather breath taking, bringing it all together harmoniously.

I totally agree with everything you’ve said. To me it fell short of ….something, I can’t quite put my finger on it. The acting was top notch….but that accent !! ….I needed the closed captions. I watched it 2 times just to make sure I just wasn’t in a bad mood the first time. I know Robert Eggers researched this for quite a few years and took painstaking efforts into all the details, which were evident. Well done. Witches and Witch Craft is in my wheel house, so I really wanted to love this movie, and the trailer looked awesome. So many people raved about it, I was so stoked.
