Gyllenhaal and Hammer would be cool choices for the role, especially since they’ve both came close to playing Batman in past years. Reynolds is a bit of mystery, because he’s already done Green Lantern before. Ditto on Cooper and McHale.

Don’t know if Cruise would be keen on playing Hal, but I remember reading that he’s more focused in making action/spy thrillers these days.
