Right in the nick of time! Before you get all geared up for Alien Covenant this weekend, join us as we take a closer look at the film that cemented Sigourney Weaver as a legit action hero both for females in Hollywood and for the human race! Directed by James Cameron himself, the 1986 action spectacular Aliens! This is of course a spoiler filled discussion where we look at what it was, what it means, and how it compares to not only the other films in this franchise but also for action/sci-fi/horror movies in general.  It’s a brilliant film and we do thank you in advance for spending a little time with us to talk about it!

My name is Carl Champion Jr. I am a Network Administrator out of Greensboro, NC but my true passion is film and television. I have no favorite genre, I have no specific taste. I love to find beauty in art, and in film I have found more beauty than in any other kind of art. If you have a favorite movie, have a favorite show, odds are I am going to like it a lot myself. I love to be surprised, love twists, love turns, love new ideas and old ideas. My favorite films are Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski and There Will Be Blood, among many, many others. I am also the founder of Film Club. We are not only the largest film discussion group on Facebook (look us up at https://www.facebook.com/groups/filmclub13/), but we try our best to throw local parties, host local events, and try to raise money for charities. We would love to see you around the Film Club page to discuss everything from Leone to Murnau, Tarantino to Howard Hawkes. Our show, The Film Club Movie Show, is a bi-weekly YouTube series where we, much like the page, discuss all kinds of movies and movie related topics. It was created and continues to be produced by Steven Billings, our Audio engineer is Joe Potts, and the show stars Steven as the host, me as the Co-Host, and Julian Morgan, Robert Jones and David Walters as regular guests. Check out our channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRXaEI36t42jvNLYNbiBSig when you get a chance, brand new episode every other Wednesday, along with a weekly movie news show called Lights! Camera! News! on every other week. Find me on Facebook and REACH OUT!! I love talking movies with anyone!!
