Hard to take this article seriously when the only narrative you employ is the feminist party line of “oh who cares about what men have to say?” You pretend like what the men are saying is unimportant, or perhaps you actually believe it (for which I can only pity you), but all you’re doing is trivializing the very concept of equality women have supposedly been fighting for for decades.

I’m quite certain I speak for every person taking issue with this story when I say this; we wouldn’t give a rat’s ass about a ladies only showing of the movie, if only they wouldn’t set up such a holy uproar if the theater held a men only night for some other movie. The double-standard is what’s at issue.

You seem to be under the misconception that “male privilege” exists. It does not. I won’t say it never did, but at least it was earned. Female privilege, however, is alive and well.

Speaking of fragile feelings of glass….. Do you even live near the theatre, Paul? Is this going to affect you in anyway if one cinema in the country does a ladies night for this film? You DO understand the concept of ladies night, right? Or do you troll every bar or venue that decides to hold one? SMH.

And if you are going to whine like a little bitch, because some guys are pointing out the hypocrisy in that, saying “this isn’t a political thing, why make it one?”, you can blame those like yourself, the feminists and other grievance mongers who’ve done that to everything from toy statues, to comic covers, to kids eating Pop Tarts in the shape of a gun. You all made it political first. Don’t blame these guys for learning from your pathetic example. I guess these things aren’t very much fun, when YOU are the target of them, huh? Perhaps there’s a lesson in that for you and the rest of the grievance mongers out there. Sadly, I doubt you’ll learn it.
